
Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking and Possession in Maine
A 38-year-old man was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for drug trafficking and possession in Maine.
Man Pleaded Guilty to the Charges of Possessing Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute
Andrew Marin from Bangor pleaded guilty on September 10, 2025. He will also given three years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Stacey D. Neumann.

Phone Records Evidence and Drug Trafficking in Parts of Maine
“Evidence, such as phone records, indicated Marin had been regularly obtaining fentanyl from these same suppliers and distributing drugs in the Bangor area,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Man Got Drugs from Out of State and Distributed Fentanyl in Maine
Marin got the fentanyl from suppliers in Massachusetts and was in possession of drugs when he was arrested in April 2024.

Law Enforcement Investigating the Case Included Drug Enforcement Agency and Deputies
Multiple agencies were involved in the drug trafficking case including the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
