
Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking Conspiracy in Maine
A 45-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years and three months in prison for his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, crack, cocaine and meth in Maine.
Pleaded Guilty to the Charges to Distribute Drugs in Maine
Alan Dziob from Old Town was also given four years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. Dziob pleaded guilty to the charges on September 15, 2025.
Drug Trafficking Conspiracy Operated for Several Months
The drug trafficking conspiracy happened between January and April 2021.

Conspired to Sell Drugs in Maine and Supply Dealers with Drugs
“Dziob conspired with others to distribute the drugs in the Penobscot County area and elsewhere. As part of the conspiracy, Dziob regularly supplied drugs to a local dealer to sell for him,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Dziob supplied the drugs to local dealers on a regular basis to be sold in the community.

Investigators Included the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency & the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office
The lead investigators in the case was the United States Drug Enforcement Agency with assistance from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.
