Know before you go!
The sweetest day in Maine is back for 2025. The town of Dover-Foxcroft, once again becomes the Whoopie Pie capital of the world, when this beloved yearly event returns for another exciting year.
Here is a breakdown of everything you need to know, before you head to the festival
Can you bring pets?
Yes! Dogs are more than welcome to attend.
When is it?
A whole day fun is happening on Saturday, June 14th, from 10am-4pm
Where is it?
The Center Theatre and the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce, have announced that the 2025 Maine Whoopie Pie Festival will switch locations.
For the first time in its 16-year history, the Festival will be held at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds instead of downtown Dover-Foxcroft. The fairgrounds are located at 77 Fairview Ave, Dover-Foxcroft.
How much does it cost to get in?
As always, the cost is just $6 per person, and kids 12 and under get in free!!

10:00AM — PACC Whoopie Pie 1K/3K Race! Call (207)464-6773 to register or go to the PACC at 48 Park Street in Dover-Foxcroft starting Saturday the 14th at 9am. 1K race at 10am, 3K race at 10:30am.
10:00AM - 4:00PM — Varney Agency Kid's Zone will be open with games and activities for the whole family. Bounce houses, magic shows, pony rides, and more!
11:00AM — Magic Show by Maine's favorite magician Conjuring Carroll at the Varney Agency Kid's Zone!
Join Conjuring Carrol for a kids magic show that will astound, amaze, and entertain. Look for Carroll roaming the festival doing balloon animals!
11:00AM — Limitless wrestling will be performing, weather permitting. The action starts at 11:00am.
11:30AM — Youth Whoopie Pie Eating Contest, 12 and under. Located at the Baker Area.
12:00PM — Teen Whoopie Pie Eating Contest, Located at the Baker Area.
12:30PM — Adult Whoopie Pie Eating Contest (20 and up), Located at the the Baker Area.
1:00PM— Magic Show by Maine's favorite magician Conjuring Carroll at the Varney Agency Kid's Zone!
When was the first Maine Whoopie Pie Festival?
The Maine Whoopie Pie Festival began way back in 2009, and it has become a must-attend afternoon for the whole family and community.
Where else can you sample so many different whoopie pie flavors from all over New England, and do some great people watching at the same time?
Enjoy a whole day of artists, crafters, vendors, live music, games, and activities for kids, dozens of bakers, and tens of thousands of whoopie pies.
