Incident Type: BURGLARY Date: 11/14/2016 Town: Hammond Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins responded to the town of Hammond for a report of three camps being broken into. Tr. Kilcollins was not able to locate the padlocks from the camps and it appears as though the suspect cut the locks and took them. The only thing that was taken from the three camps was a flat screen television. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: ARREST - OTHER Date: 11/14/2016 Town: Mars Hill Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli was in a school zone in Mars Hill running traffic and observed a Chevrolet Impala pass by his location. Tr. Pescitelli ran the license plate of the vehicle which showed it was registered to a Nissan Maxima. Tr. Pescitelli followed the vehicle to an apartment complex and spoke with the operator once he exited his vehicle. The man could not produce a registration to the vehicle. Tr. Pescitelli called the Blaine town office. The clerk stated that he plates belonged on the Nissan Maxima. The man then admitted that he had not registered the vehicle and illegally attached the Maxima’s plates. The man was summoned for attaching false plates.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 11/15/2016 Town: Sherman Trooper: Sgt. Clark Brief Synopsis: Sgt. Clark was on a Stone Garden detail on the interstate in Sherman and stopped a vehicle for speeding. The female operator produced a suspended driver’s license. Sgt. Clark summonsed the female for criminal OAS due to her have a prior charge for OAS.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 11/15/2016 Town: Sherman Trooper: Tr. Stoutamyer Brief Synopsis: On both 11/15/16, and 11/17/2016, Tr. Stoutamyer was conducting 2 separate Stone Garden details on I-95 in the town of Sherman when he stopped, and discovered 2 different individuals who were operating under suspension, and both individuals were subsequently charged for OAS.

Incident Type: THEFT Date: 11/16/2016 Town: Mapleton Trooper: Cpl. Michaud Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Michaud took a complaint of a stolen wallet in the town of Mapleton. A man and woman had been out hunting and returned to find a wallet missing from their unlocked vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 11/17/2016 Town: Mars Hill Trooper: Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli was on rural patrol and observed a male and a female walking. Tr. Pescitelli was familiar with the female and stopped to ask her if she had taken care of a warrant. Tr. Pescitelli ran the female which showed an active warrant in the system. Tr. Pescitelli arrested the female and transported her to the Aroostook County jail.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 11/18/2016 Town: Amity Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins was on rural patrol in Amity and stopped a vehicle for speeding. Tr. Kilcollins ran the two occupants of the vehicle. One subject showed an active warrant for his arrest. Tr. Kilcollins arrested the man and transported him to the Aroostook County Jail.

Incident Type: ARREST - OTHER Date: 11/19/2016 Town: Westfield Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins was on rural patrol in Westfield and stopped a vehicle for traveling 75 mph in a posted 55 mph zone. Tr. Kilcollins ran the teenage operator’s license which showed that his license was intermediate status. The teenager was traveling to Presque Isle for his employment and had a passenger with him. Tr. Kilcollins notified the teen’s mother and gave the passenger a ride to Presque Isle. The teen was summoned for speeding and violation of his intermediate license.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties.
