Maine State Police Dog Finds Woman’s Body
A Maine State Police dog found a woman’s body Saturday in Bar Harbor after a search by investigators.
Detectives had been searching for a woman who went missing overnight Friday. Her body was found at the intersection of Route 3 and West Street. The medical examiner’s office is doing an autopsy and identification, said Steve McCausland, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman.
Authorities are continuing the investigation. Maine Wardens and Maine Marine Patrol assisted in the search.
