The Sun Journal reports 27-year-old Taneisha Thomas' license will be suspended for three years following an arrest last month for operating while under the influence.

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles says the license was suspended for three years because Thomas committed the offense within 10 years of a previous one.

Thomas was represented at Thursday's hearing by her attorney, who quizzed the detective who made the traffic stop.

Police say Thomas backed into 17-month-old Tiannah Sevey while leaving a birthday party on Saturday. Investigators say there's no indication Thomas was intoxicated at the time of the fatal accident.
