Do You Agree With Maine’s Most Festive Drink?

If there’s one drink that perfectly sums up the cozy, crisp magic of fall in Maine, it’s apple cider, right?

According to a recent report by coffeeness, apple cider has taken the title of Maine’s most popular festive drink this season. Honeslty? We are not surprised.

This is a classic New England drink that has been sipped by Mainers for generations. 

Apple cider is like the grandmother of holiday drinks, it’s always warm, welcoming, and there to keep you cozy. You can enjoy it steaming hot on a cold Maine winter night or even iced to give you that refreshing holiday fill.  

One of the most popular ways to enjoy this drink is by adding lots of liquor. Well, maybe not lots, but just enough. The Apple Cider Mimosa is a stand-out Maine favorite, a sparkling drink to serve at parties across the state.  

And if you aren’t into the 21 plus vibe, you can enjoy an Apple Cider Mocktail.

I think many of us would like to see something a bit more modern on the scene.

Or how about we highlight the love of our forests because Maine is literally made up of endless pine trees and concoct a Pine Tree Punch with or without bourbon, fresh pine needle syrup, apple cider, and a dash of bitters. 

Maryland may be feeling a little lucky with their epic espresso martini, but us Mainers? We’re already fueled on enough Dunkin caffeine to power the entire Northeast.
