Luke Combs Announces Return to Bangor, Maine This Summer
The ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ singer is returning to the Maine Savings Amphitheater.
This summer's concert lineup at the Bangor Waterfront is shaping up to be one of the best ever, and it just got even more exciting with the addition of Luke Combs.
The announcement on Tuesday morning surprised fans, who are already looking forward to seeing stellar country acts like Lainey Wilson, Kenny Chesney, Tyler Childers, and Jordan Davis this summer.
Announced on Tuesday morning, Luke Combs is bringing his ‘The Middle of Somewhere Tour Returns’ to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 26th at 10:00 am.
Luke Combs was last in Bangor in September of 2022, playing the Maine Savings Amphitheater for two sold-out back-to-back shows.
Each night provided something memorable for the audience in Bangor as well. The first night, Combs and Bangor made national news when Combs pulled some young fans on stage who had signs saying, “We made $100 bucks stacking 5 cords of wood, bought two Luke Combs tickets. Man, he sounds good. Our Dads swore it was a waste of time, oh but they were wrong. Today’s my 12th birthday, oh Lord when it rains it pours.”
Combs then pulled out his wallet and handed them $140 from the stage, signed hats for them, and said a member of his team would be escorting them backstage to give them T-shirts and other memorabilia.
The next night, Luke Combs made national news again by refunding the folks in attendance because his voice wasn’t up to par.
This show is a makeup for the refunded show he did in 2022. All attendees who were at the 9/3/22 show will receive an email with a code and have the first chance to buy tickets starting Wednesday, April 24th.
Luke Combs is a good guy, and we’re excited for him to come back to our Pine Tree State.
