Local High School Basketball Players Up For Mr. Basketball and Miss Basketball Awards [VIDEO]

Three local basketball players are up for Mr. Basketball and Miss Basketball. Kyle Bouchard from Houlton, Hannah Graham from Presque Isle and Washburn's Mackenzie Worcester are semifinalists for the awards.

Tournament time is in full swing and it's always a team effort.These players stand out as inspirations to lead their teams with great attitudes and awesome skills.

According to the Portland Press Herald:

The Mr. and Miss Basketball awards go annually to the state’s top high school seniors. The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches selects the semifinalists. From there, members of separate selection committees for boys and girls vote for their top five choices among the semifinalists."
