Littleton Man Charged With Criminal Threatening
A Littleton man has been charged with two felonies after he allegedly threatened three people with a handgun.
The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang-up call Thursday evening from a residence in Littleton, according to Sheriff Darrell Crandall. Public safety dispatchers called back and were told that a man had threatened people at the home with a firearm.
Deputy Sheriffs quickly responded to investigate and determined that 40-year-old John Morrow of Littleton had brandished a handgun and made threats toward three people. Deputies recovered the gun and Morrow was arrested for Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon and Reckless Conduct with a Firearm.
Morrow was transported to the Aroostook County Jail. After an initial appearance in court on Friday, he posted bail. The victims in this case will not be identified, Crandall said.
