Jessica Meir Talks to Caribou Students Live From ISS [WATCH]

NASA Astronaut Jessica Meir will chat live with students in Caribou Tuesday morning during a live video call from the International Space Station.

Meir, who grew up in Caribou, is the first Maine woman to travel to space and recently participated in the first all-female spacewalk.

The phone call between Meir and Eastern Aroostook RSU 39 students will take place during a live event at Caribou High School. Students in grades 3-12 will take part in the call.

The public can watch the call live on NASA's website beginning at 10:35 a.m. Students will have a chance to talk with Meir directly and ask questions..
