Here’s 6 High-Flying Performers Coming to the 2026 Great State of Maine Air Show in Brunswick

Are you excited for the Great State of Maine Air Show?

Fans got word in late 2025 that the high-flying event would be returning in 2026, along with the legendary Blue Angels.

Now, we've got news about some of the other performers who will be showing up this summer.

When Is the Great State of Maine Air Show 2026?

The return of the Great State of Maine Air Show takes place on July 11 and 12, 2026, at the Brunswick Executive Airport in Brunswick, Maine.

The last Great State of Maine Air Show was in 2024 and featured the Thunderbirds as the lead performers. The last time the Blue Angels performed in the Maine air show was back in 2021.

Who Is Performing at the Great State of Maine Air Show 2026?

As previously mentioned back in 2025, the headliner of the Great State of Maine Air Show is the Navy-based Blue Angels with their blue and yellow F/A-18 Super Hornets.

You might even be surprised to know that the Blue Angels’ first public demonstration took place 80 years ago. According to Marina Life, the team performed "aerobatic maneuvers and formation flying routines" for an audience on June 15, 1946, at Craig Airfield in Jacksonville, Florida.

And they are still "wowing" people all these years later.

In addition to the Blue Angels coming to Brunswick, the U.S. Air Force F-35 Demo Team will be making its first-ever Maine appearance.

You'll also see the U.S. Air Force C-17 Demo Team (East Coast).

Then there's Mike Goulian, New England's hometown aerobatic champion.

You've also got Warbird Thunder and the Vacationland Jumpers.

It's important to note that all tickets to the event must be purchased online as there will be no walk-up tickets available. You can purchase tickets through the Great State of Maine Air Show website.
