A large illegal marijuana growing operation was shut down and items seized after a six-month investigation in Franklin County, Maine.
Search Warrant for Illegal Marijuana Growing Operation
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said a search warrant was obtained for a New Sharon home on Industry Road. The residence had two 200-amp meters for electrical service, said officials.
Items and Documents Seized
Law enforcement seized items and documents related to the illegal grow, said WGME News.
Departments Investigating the Case
Agencies involved in the investigation included the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Border Patrol agents, Homeland Security agents and members of the Office of Cannabis Policy.
