Houlton Man Hospitalized After Tractor Rollover
A Houlton man was being treated for serious injuries at a Bangor hospital after the tractor he was driving flipped over Tuesday morning in Littleton.
Maine State Police say 33 year-old Joseph Fitzpatrick was driving a 1978 John Deere down a hill on the Wiley Road shortly before 9 a.m. when he applied the tractor's brakes. The brakes locked up and pulled Fitzpatrick and the tractor off the right side of the road where it lost a rear wheel and flipped over, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Clark.
Fitzpatrick was transported to Houlton Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries. He was later transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. His condition is unknown at this time.
