According to the article, the rising costs and a rough economy are the main reasons the company is closing all of their U.S. stores.
This will result in approximately 145 people losing their jobs, as per the report. However, we didn't get an official number on how many employees in Maine will be cut.
“We’re focusing on supporting our store colleagues at this time. We’d like to thank all customers who have shopped with us for their support over the years.” said a spokesperson
According to the article, FatFace comes from a steep ski run in the French Alps. It all started when Tim Slade and Jules Leaver ending up selling T-shirts at ski resorts which turned into a brand making clothing for everyone plus accessories like hats, bags, and shoes!
