A Carmel man was killed in an early morning crash on Outer Hammond Street.

Police Identify the Deceased as a Man From Carmel

Bangor Police have identified the deceased as Allyn White, 36, of Carmel.

The Crash Happened Near Ranger in on Outer Hammond Street

It was around 1:30 Wednesday morning when Bangor Police and Fire Departments responded to Outer Hammond Street, near the Ranger Inn, for a report of a single-vehicle crash. When they arrived, officials found an unresponsive White on the ground near the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Bangor Police Say Speed Was a Factor in the Hammond Street Crash

An initial investigation of the circumstances of the crash determined that the vehicle was traveling west on Hammond Street when it went off the road. The vehicle rolled over several times and White was ejected.
