More than 300 NB Power crews are working to repair damage from Tropical Storm Arthur that has left tens of thousands of people in New Brunswick without electricity for a nearly a week.

As of Friday at 10 a.m., there were just under 24,000 homes and businesses in the province still without power, including 3000 in the Woodstock area.  Over 15 thousand customers in the Fredericton area remained off the grid Friday morning.

Meanwhile, wireless service for Rogers Communications has been fully restored and Bell Mobility has restored service to the majority of its customers in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick's Emergency Measures Organization says several reception centers remain open in Carleton and York Counties to allow people to charge their phones & electronic devices and to pick up water.

NB Power says the goal is to have 90% of customers restored by Friday night and 99% by Tuesday night.  If your home still has no electricity, you can find the estimated time of restoration here.
