Even if you haven’t watched the show, it’s hard to miss the fact that the Stranger Things finale just aired on Netflix on New Year’s Eve. While every show’s ending is bound to face criticism and won’t satisfy everyone, getting a true conclusion is still far better than a series being abruptly canceled without any resolution.

After the finale was released on New Year’s Eve, Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, took to social media to share his thoughts on the ending of Stranger Things.

Despite seeing plenty of criticism online beforehand, Portnoy said he went into the finale expecting the worst but ultimately came away enjoying how the series wrapped up.

Portnoy went on to say that the finale felt very similar to the last few seasons, where things can be confusing and not always make complete sense.

Still, he continued, in so many words, that even when it’s difficult to follow, the show remains entertaining and enjoyable.
