Crash Claims Life of 56-Year-Old Grand Falls Man

A 56-year-old Grand Falls man died in a single vehicle crash in New Denmark just after midnight Saturday.

Saint-Léonard RCMP said the driver was ejected from the vehicle when it left the roadway of Highway 108 and overturned. He died at the scene. His name was not released.

Police said they believe he was not wearing a seat belt & speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.

Officials are continuing the investigation.
