• Luke was all set to move to Nashville to pursue music, but his older brother, Chris, died in a car accident the night before he was supposed to move. He opted not to go at that time.
• He attended Georgia Southern University so he could stay closer to his family.
• He has co-written several songs including Billy Currington's single "Good Directions".
