- Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley met while they were both students at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Garth Brooks is a big inspiration to both singers.
- Both Hubbard and Kelley are fans of hip-hop, in particular Lil' Wayne. "Everybody in the high school parking lot was either blaring some country music or blaring rap -- and I guess over the years it just kind of comes together somewhere in the middle," Hubbard told CNN.
