Did you know that on this day in Country Music History in 2013 Republic Nashville released Florida Georgia Line's "Get Your Shine On" to radio?

• The band consists of Tyler Hubbard (Hometown: Monroe, Georgia) and Brian Kelley (Hometown: Ormond Beach, Florida)... Hence the name "Florida Georgia Line."
• Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley met while they were both students at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
• Garth Brooks is a big inspiration to both singers.
• Both Hubbard and Kelley are fans of hip-hop, in particular Lil' Wayne. "Everybody in the high school parking lot was either blaring some country music or blaring rap -- and I guess over the years it just kind of comes together somewhere in the middle," Hubbard told CNN.

• In their hit "Cruise," the pair mention "a brand new Chevy" -- and each received brand new Chevy Silverados from a Georgia car dealership in appreciation.
