With Newport, Maine native Cooper Flagg leading the #1 Duke Blue Devils into the Round of 16, ESPN's SportsCenter did a 5-minute feature on Cooper Flagg that features his meteoric rise from Newport, Maine.

According to CBS Sports the list of Freshman with 30 plus points, 15 plus rebounds, and 10 plus assists in 2 NCAA Tournament Games, over the last 30 years has just 1 player on it... Cooper Flagg.

Flagg has been selected as 1 of the 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Men's College Player of the Year.  The 10 semifinalists are set to be winnowed down to 4 finalists on March 25th with the winner being announced on April 6th.

Flagg and #1 Duke are set to take on the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday, March 27th at 9:39 p.m. in the Sweet 16.

Maine Black Bears Welcomed Back to Campus

The Maine Black Bears were met with a hero's welcome complete with police and fire truck escorts as they returned to Campus after winning the Hockey East Championship on Saturday afternoon, March 22nd.
