
Child Injured after Leg Trapped in Snow Blower in Maine
A child was injured Sunday morning after their leg was trapped in a snow blower in South Berwick.
Child’s Leg Trapped in Auger
The South Berwick Fire Department said EMS “found a juvenile lying in front of a snow blower with their leg trapped in the auger.”
Transported to Hospital
Crews worked for 20 minutes to free the victim. The juvenile was taken to Wentworth Douglass Hospital with minor injuries. The child’s condition was not released.
Safety First
The incident happened around 10:30 am. Officials advised safety around power equipment.
