
Men Charged with Illegal Possession of Firearms & Drugs in Maine
Two men were arrested after firearms and drugs were seized in Lagrange.
Search Warrant Executed as Part of Investigation
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine State Police Tactical Team executed a search warrant on Town Road January 15.
Illegal Firearms Possession and Drug Trafficking
“This action stemmed from an ongoing investigation into the illegal possession of firearms by convicted felons with multiple prior weapons offenses, as well as drug trafficking activities,” according to Deputies.
Suspects Arrested at the Scene of the Search Warrant
Two men were taken into custody at the scene including 53-year-old Richard Stacker and 56-year-old Ferdinand Nazario, both from New York and Lagrange, Maine.
Two Men Faces Charges for Illegal Possession of a Firearm
Stacker and Nazario were charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
Multiple Agencies Involved in the Ongoing Investigation
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation was the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
