Caribou Man Arrested for Robbery at Walgreens [PHOTO]
A 30-year-old Caribou man was arrested Sunday afternoon after robbing the Caribou Walgreens.
Nathan Jones was apprehended at his home in Caribou about an hour and a half after the Walgreens Pharmacist reported the theft to Caribou Police around 12:55 pm, Sunday.
Officials said Jones handed the Pharmacist a note, demanding specific drugs. No weapon was displayed, and no one was injured. Jones took the stolen items and fled the store. The stolen items were not recovered, said authorities.
The Pharmacist described the suspect to police as a white male wearing a black baseball hat, jeans, a black jacket & sunglasses. Caribou PD and Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office identified Jones after they reviewed a video.
Jones is charged with Robbery (Class B), Stealing Drugs x2, Terrorizing, Violation of Conditional Release. Bail was not sent as Jones was already out on bail. Mr. Jones was held at the Caribou Police Department until his arraignment in front of a judge. Jones’ court date is May 9, 2019.
