The Boston Bruins have place goaltender Anton Khudobin on waivers Wednesday after appearing in just eight games for the team this season.

Khudobin has played in eight seasons in the National Hockey League and compiled a record of 44-41-8 overall.  He was drafted in the seventh round by the Minnesota Wild in 2004 and signed with the Bruins as a free agent on July 1, 2016.

During the 2016-17 season sported a 3.06 goals against average and a record of 1-5-1.  Khudobin also had a save percentage of .885

Boston is likely to call up Zane McIntyre from Providence in a corresponding move as the goalie has compiled a 10-0 record with a 1.41 GAA in 12 games with the Bs.  McIntyre was named yesterday as the AHL Goalie of the Month for his efforts in December.

Next up for the Bruins is a game with Edmonton on Thursday night.
