Blow The Whistle On Cancer Week

When you attend a high school basketball game this week you may notice the whistle officials are using is pink in color. It's 'Blow The Whistle On Cancer Week' in Maine.

Basketball officials are promoting fundraising for cancer research by using pink whistles instead of the standard black whistles in games from January 23rd to January 29th. Officials are donating part of their game fee to cancer research and many schools will ask fans to donate while attending a a game.
