The Resident of the Bangor Home Says Intruders Claimed to Be Police
The original complaint to the Bangor Police Department was about excessive noise, and possibly a fight, from the March Street residence where the alleged robbery was taking place. Officers knocked on the door, only to have it opened and then immediately closed on them. Moments later, a man exited the residence with his hands in the air and told the officers that three people had entered his home. He said they wore masks and items that identified them as law enforcement, brandished firearms and claimed to be cops. The man also told officers that a woman staying with him was still inside and he believed she may have been involved.
All Four People Were Taken Into Custody Without Incident
More officers arrived and told the remaining occupants to come out with their hands above their heads. All four complied and were taken into custody. This investigation is ongoing.
