For the second week in a row, northern Maine and New Brunswick are bracing for a March nor'easter that's expected to dump heavy snow across the region.

Snow will move into southern Aroostook County Tuesday afternoon and cover the entire region by Tuesday evening. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of northern Maine until late Wednesday night.

Blustery winds will cause widespread blowing snow, making travel difficult to nearly impossible at times.

Meanwhile, Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Woodstock and Carleton County with up to 30 centimetres of snowfall likely along with blowing and drifting snow.

The  National Weather Service says snowfall so far this winter has totaled 121 inches at Caribou, about 30 inches above normal.
