20-year-old Shelby Suitter from Houlton lost control of her vehicle due to loose dirt in the road, said Sheriff Darrell O. Crandall. The person who made the emergency call reported that Suitter came to his residence injured and disoriented, said Crandall.

The Sheriff's Office said Suitter's vehicle came to rest on its roof after she apparently over corrected and went off the side of the roadway, through a small group of trees and rolled over. She was wearing a seat belt when she crashed.

Suitter was transported to Houlton Regional Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
