3rd Annual Riverfront Harvest Festival to be Held in Houlton

Harvest and the fall season are great times to be in Aroostook County. There is just something special about that crisp fall air that you can't help but love! That's why the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce is putting on their 3rd Annual Riverfront Harvest Festival!

Houlton's Riverfront Park will be a happening place on Saturday, September 20th! There will be something for everyone!

The fun begins at 9 a.m. with the registration for the 5K River Run. The Kids’ race starts at 9:30 a.m. with the 5K starting at 10:00 a.m. Cost is just $10 per person for the 5K and Kids age 10 and under can participate for free. The first 50 registrants get a free t-shirt!

Events continue all day with a community market, craft vendors and food. There will even be a 100 pie extravaganza, where people can purchase the pies! Funds raised will go toward improvements at Riverfront Park.

Kids games will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. There will even be an antique tractor train for the kiddos to hitch a ride on from 10 a.m. to 2 pm.

It’s sure to be an old-fashioned family fun day that includes games, vendors, and lots more! Bring the kiddos and have a blast celebrating harvest in Houlton!
