Get ready to see some wings and some wheels! It's the Third Annual Houlton International Wings & Wheels event, coming up on Saturday, July 25th!

The event will be held at the Houlton International Airport from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It's sure to be a great day with something for the whole family to enjoy, including food, craft vendors, and all day car cruise-in, a historical presentation and more!

This year's schedule of events is as follows:

7 a.m. to 10 a.m. - Breakfast buffet & fly-in.

10 a.m. - Show opens with color guard and skydiving.

10:30 a.m. & 2 p.m. - Jim Parker Airshow.

11:15 a.m. & 3 p.m. - Jim Parker Sr. Glider exhibition.

Noon - Fly-in.

There will also be a Forestry Service helicopter water drop, kids candy drop, all day re-enactors will set up a WW11 camp complete with tanks, trucks, displays, weapons and much more.

Acadia Air Tours will once again be offering-bi-plane rides.

Vacationland Skydiving will be offering skydiving opportunities all day Saturday and Sunday. There is a cost and there are limited spaces, so be sure to call early for reservations.

Cody Anderson with North Woods Air in Frenchville will be offering introductory flying lessons for anyone interested in getting a pilots license. The cost is $75.

Cost: 16 and older - $10 at the gate. Early ticket sales are $8.

Ages 6 - 15 at the gate are $5. Early tickets are $4.

Ages 5 and under are free!

Rain date is Sunday, July 26th.
