Twin Rivers Paper Company Bought Out by New York Based Investment Firms

Twin Rivers Paper Company will soon have a new owner.

Blue Wolf Capital Partners and Atlas Holdings announced today that they have reached an agreement to buy the mills from Brookfield Asset Management. The deal is expected to be final in about three weeks.

Blue Wolf and Atlas, both New York based private investment firms, have long track records of building forest products companies in North America. Twin Rivers has facilities in Madawaska as well as Edmundston and Plaster Rock, New Brunswick and has been producing specialty papers and lumber for a variety of markets for over 80 years.
