Police say the MSAD # 1 school bus, operated by Brandy Carter, was traveling north on the Turner Road when it met a log truck, operated by Carter Marin. Due to the narrow roadway, the mirrors from both vehicles struck causing them to break.

There were about 16 students on the bus, police said. No one was injured in the incident but Crown Ambulance responded. The children were transported to their destination by another school bus.
