A 36-year-old man refused to exit his home Saturday when police served an arrest warrant for Domestic Violence Assault plus additional crimes.

Man Refused to Exit Home for Arrest Warrant

The Holden Police Department said Whitney Bryant from Hermon was inside the residence at 10 Lloyd Lane. Assisting on the scene was the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and the Maine State Police Tactical Team and the Brewer Police Department.

Search Warrant and Maine State Police Tactical Team

A search warrant was obtained and “the Maine State Police Tactical Team was able to successfully call Whitney Bryant out. He was taken into custody without incident,” said police. Whitney was taken to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

Police Tanked Community for Patience

The Holden Police said “We would like to thank the Cedar Haven Trailer Park Community for their patience while this event unfolded and for the assistance of our Law Enforcement Partners.”
