Zac Brown Band recently teamed with Kacey Musgraves to record "All the Best," another previewed song from ZBB's forthcoming album, Welcome Home. It's the fourth song released by Brown in 2017, preceded by "My Old Man" "Real Thing" and "Family Table."

For "All the Best," Brown tips his hat to John Prine as he and Musgraves create a soulful cover of the 1991 Prine original. Though the cover is led by Brown and is hardly a duet, Musgraves adds a soft female voice for high harmonies throughout the song. The two also appeared to have a great time recording the song and have a mutual respect for Prine.

"I had so much fun singin' on one of my favorite old John Prine songs on the new Zac Brown Band record," Musgraves says in an Instagram post. "Zac, thanks for always being so kind and supportive to me."

Zac Brown Band — all eight members — recorded the "All the Best" in one solid take, according to Brown. This song and other songs showcased thus far from the new album also retract to the band's minimalistic approach after 2015's experimental album Jekyll + Hyde. That album launched the band into the pop, rock and even electronic atmosphere, showcasing the dance-inspired remix of "Beautiful Drug."

Welcome Home, which is produced by red-hot Nashville producer Dave Cobb, will be released May 12 via Southern Ground/Elektra Records. Brown is currently on the road and his nationwide Welcome Home Tour, which also stretches into parts of Canada, will run through October 2017.
