Unlike most fish stories that smell, well, a little fishy, a boater recently captured on video what is believed to be one of the largest fish in the world off the coast of Vinalhaven, Maine.

Earlier last week, Jeremy Philbrook spotted an Ocean Sunfish, which is speculated to be up to 10 feet long and weigh as much as two tons. The Ocean Sunfish is the world’s largest bony fish and the meat from these creatures is considered a delicacy in places like Japan and Taiwan.

Regardless of its size, the Ocean Sunfish does not present any danger to humans, as it survives mainly on a diet jellyfish, squid, small fish and eel grass. However, because it is a beastly gargantuan, this fish has been known to cause damage to boats, but it typically leaves swimmers alone.

We're not entirely sure how one is supposed to go about reeling one of these gigantic suckers in, but we certainly would have tried - wouldn't you?
