I'm also at that "certain age" where my primary care provider also performs a prostatel exam. Luckily he saves "the best" for last. Although the most invasive part of the physical, it may also be the most important. If he feels something out of the ordinary, he may order a colonoscopy, which is another treat in itself.

Colo-rectal cancer is a big killer among men and early detection can be a life saver.

So, men, the next time you go for a physical and your PCP performs that procedure, just roll over on your side and think happy thoughts. Like puppies or snowflakes or the Patriots winning another Super Bowl.
