What to Bring to Taste the North:
ID: Make sure you have your ID with you. It’s a beer fest and you’ll need it at the door.
MONEY: Bring cash to buy great food and souvenirs. There’s an ATM at the forum.
NO DRINKS: Don’t bring any beverages inside. Water and other drinks are available for sale at the Forum. And, of course, there’s beer.
NO FOOD: Taste the North is a food fest too and delicious dishes are offered. VIP tickets get you a free hour of tasting from 4 – 5 p.m.
PRETZEL NECKLACES: A big part of a beer fests is the pretzel necklace. It can be worn around the neck as a way to show status and clear the palate.

Live Art Battle:
In the center of the Forum from 6-7 pm at Taste the North, April 21st, Presque Isle Forum.
Here’s how it works: 8-10 local artists will create their best work with a Maine theme. People can feel free to move around the easels and watch different techniques and the creative process.
Wintergreen Arts Center will sell $1 tickets for people to vote for the people’s choice award.
There is a live auction after the art battle. Take home your favorite piece for the right price. Proceeds from the tickets and auction go to support the Wintergreen Arts Center.
