Tyler Farr Inks Deal With Jason Aldean’s New Label, Night Train Records

Tyler Farr is embarking on a new chapter of his career that also involves his longtime mentor, good friend and collaborator, Jason Aldean. The up-and-comer behind songs such as "I Should Go to Church Sometime" announced on Monday (March 25) that he has signed a new record deal with Broken Bow Records / Night Train Records, an imprint of BBR Music Group.

Farr is the flagship artist for Night Train Records, a new label founded by Aldean, and Farr says that the partnership is made even sweeter by his personal relationship with the country superstar. "I'm looking forward to working with one of my best friends in Jason Aldean, and the entire Broken Bow Team. Can't wait to see what the future holds!" he stated in a press release.

For his part, Aldean also shared his excitement about the venture. "It's cool to pursue this new endeavor in my career," he explained. "I can't think of a better way to start than signing one of my best friends. I also really believe in him as an artist, and am looking forward to everyone hearing what we're working on."

BBR Executive Vice President Jon Loba added that he couldn't wait for the world to see the product of Aldean's industry expertise and Farr's distinct musical persona. "Hearing Jason and Tyler's vision about the music they wanted to create and the brand they wanted to reinforce, Jason's first signing was easy to green-light," he said. "Tyler fills a unique lane, and I'm so excited to see what they come up with."

It isn't the first time the pair have collaborated on a project. Aldean made an appearance on Farr's 2015 studio album, Suffer in Peace, and the two artists have also toured together. Off the clock, Aldean was also a groomsman in Farr's wedding in 2016, along with Lee Brice and Colt Ford.
