Two Men Charged in Break-in and Possession of Stolen Property
Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with an investigation into the recovery of stolen property from a hardware store in Clair, N.B.
Dany Jean Guy Langevin, 33, and David Camille Dionne, 36, both from Clair, appeared in Edmundston Provincial Court on Thursday, December 27. Langevin was charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, possession of stolen property and breach of probation. Dionne was charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence and breach of probation.
On December 24, 2018, the West District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Principale Street in Clair. Copper pipes and wires were recovered, which an investigation revealed to be from a theft that had taken place the night before from Clair Home Hardware on Avenue Des Erables.
Both men remain in custody pending bail hearings. Langevin is scheduled to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court on December 31, and Dionne is scheduled to return to court on January 8, 2019.
