Tractor Trailer Destroyed After Fire on I-95 [PHOTO]
State Police say a tractor trailer was destroyed early Monday morning after it caught fire on the Maine Turnpike in Kennebunk.
The truck was headed north to Bangor when the driver discovered the fire and pulled the truck to the breakdown lane at mile 26, just after 1 a.m.
The driver, 46 -year-old Corey White from Virginia, was not injured.
All three northbound lanes were closed for a time as the fire was put out by firefighters.
The 2017 Kenworth is owned by Bale Brothers from Fayetteville, NC. The trailer was owned by Falcon Transportation from Presque Isle. The load of Coca Cola products was also destroyed.
