It's Luke Combs' world and we're all just living in it. The country hitmaker and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee has two songs inside the Top 10 of October's Top 40 Country Songs on the Radio list. Can either stop a hard-charging Carrie Underwood though?

The Entertainer of the Year nominee moves "Southbound" into Top 5 spot for October, just ahead of her big night at the Nov. 13 awards show. Other artists with songs on the radio that figure to play roles during the ABC broadcast include Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban. Then there's newcomers like Riley Green, Matt Stell and Blanco Brown who have hit songs that fans know better than the artists.
