Three men were charged Monday with selling heroin and cocaine from a motel room in Augusta.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and Augusta Police arrested three men Monday, seizing 43 grams of heroin and 23 grams of cocaine. Agents made the arrest inside the Edison Drive motel room. $3,677 in cash was also seized. The drugs have a street value of $11,000, said Stephen McCausland, Public Safety Spokesman.
41-year-old Augusta man, Travis Moore, was arrested along with two New York City men, 20-year-old Stephon Sullivan and 19-year-old Sammy Virella. All three men were charged with aggravated trafficking of a schedule “W” drug, said McCausland.
Over the past month, the men from New York were alternating selling the drugs from two Augusta motels, McCausland said.
