During a recent set that was filmed for the critically acclaimed live music series Front and Center, the Cadillac Three performed their 2014 single "White Lightning." Click play above to get a peek at the performance, premiering exclusively on The Boot.

Known for hard-partying country anthems such as "The South," the Cadillac Three take things down a notch with "White Lightning," a power ballad about how leading singer Jaren Johnston fell in love with his wife. The song is smooth, like a summer day spent floating along the water with a beer in your hand and your girl by your side, but it's still full of punchy lyrics and melodies that build to rocking crescendos -- quintessential TC3.

The Cadillac Three will appear on Front and Center as part of the series' seventh season. Along with TC3, the nine-episode season will feature a diverse set of artists, from a variety of genres, including Jennifer Nettles, Dawes, Rob Thomas, Cheap Trick, Shawn Mendes, Southside Johnny and Steve Vai.

“It feels incredible to bring Front and Center back for a seventh season,” says Executive Producer Don Maggi. “We had the privilege of working with a dynamic group of artists to give fans new insight on the creative process of some of their favorite musicians.”

The Cadillac Three's episode of Front and Center will begin airing on Feb. 7, in partnership with the Country Music Associations and the CMA Songwriter Series; in addition to "White Lightning" and older tracks such as "Days of Gold," their set will include songs from their most recent album, Bury Me in My Boots, such as "Ship Faced."
