Yes, you read that headline correctly! The National Weather Service Office in Caribou as well as Environment Canada have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick for late Thursday evening through 1 p.m. on Friday, April 10th, 2015.
You may have woke up this morning to light snow falling from the sky. The good news is we're not getting a blizzard. The bad news is that Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick will indeed see some snow accumulation throughout the day.
The National Weather Service Office in Caribou has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, and that remains in effect until 3 p.m. Wednesday.
It looks like some winter weather is on it's way to Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick Saturday night in to Sunday, as a low pressure system makes it way over the area bringing a wintery mix with it.
