Emera Maine crews are scheduled to perform work to the electrical system in Sinclair on Thursday, October 13, 2016. The work will begin around 09:00 a.m. and last approximately three hours. During this time, electric service will be suspended to enable crews to safely complete their work.

Just before 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning the Sheriff’s Office sent Deputy Sheriff Corey Saucier to a report of a single vehicle crash in Cross Lake.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office says a Mars Hill man was killed Tuesday afternoon when a camp on Route 162 in Sinclair collapsed while he was working underneath the building.

Two women were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Fort Kent after their car went off the road on an icy curve Thursday morning in northern Aroostook County.

A snowmobile was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon in the Northern Maine town of Sinclair.

The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying  the person or vehicle that stopped to fill up at a local gas station this week.

Consider this your warning, parts of Aroostook County will be without power next week for a few hours for a scheduled outage.
