A Texas man who moved to Aroostook County, Maine over a year ago was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Bangor for failing to register as a sex offender.
A Caribou man pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court for failing to register as a sex offender in Maine and for not informing his home state that he had relocated.
Michael Nagell, 51, of Georgetown, Maine, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Portland by to 30 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release for failing to update his sex offender registration.
Clifford Mason, 30-years-old, from Biddeford was arrested on a nationwide extraditable warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. He also faces new charges of refusing to submit to arrest or detention, violation of condition of release, and disorderly conduct.
