Gov. Janet Mills and Sen. Susan Collins on Wednesday celebrated the grand opening of the newly converted Louisiana-Pacific (LP) Building Solutions facility in New Limerick.

Since last June, Collins has been calling on the U.S. government to consider localizing border restrictions especially in rural areas where case loads are not as severe.

Officials say 56-year-old Katrina Preble, of Bangor, was arrested Monday on two counts of making interstate threats.

Collins said she had almost no contact with three Senate colleagues who tested positive.

Prosecutors say the letter contained white powder, a reference to anthrax and a stick figure with the letter "X'' for eyes.
