Amid the recent information about PenAir canceling flights to Denver and some areas in the Pacific Northwest, they have now officially appeared in bankruptcy court.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — An air carrier based in Alaska says it's filing a Chapter 11 reorganization plan.

PenAir has signed an interline ticketing agreement with American Airlines. Effective October 26, 2016, PenAir and American Airlines will have the ability to ticket on each other as well as provide boarding passes and the transferring of bags downline to passengers’ destinations.
